WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro is a marvelous piece of software that allows users to rip their DVDs with ease. If you ever wanted to convert your movies or “back them up”, WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro has you covered. – Lets jump in and see why this DVD ripping software is one of the best on the market.
Easily Rip Your DVDs With “WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro”
When it comes to the best DVD ripping software, one of the things I always rank by is “ease of access”. DVD Ripper Pro is by far one of the easiest to use and I put this down to its simple, straight forward interface. Its clean and doesn’t over complicate things.
The software is optimized for three different ripping methods. Most commonly it allows users to rip DVDs straight from the disc, which is what I assume most people will be using. In addition it also has the options to rip DVDs from an ISO and from DVD video folders on a hard disk. This is nice for people who want to convert their DVDs to a more attainable and flexible format.
Once you’ve selected the source of your DVD, the software will analyze each track. Most DVDs contain a lot of bonus material such as behind the scenes, deleted scenes, trailers etc… So when ripping a movie its important you’re selecting the right track. DVD Ripper Pro will do this for you automatically. It then gives you further options to pick your audio track and if you want to hard-code subtitles. This is outstanding if you want to rip a foreign film.
Moving on to the actual DVD ripping and conversion. This is the part where a lot of other software “gets it wrong”. WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro has over 50 presets, ready to go, with zero need to change anything. If you’re unfamiliar with different settings, bit-rates, encoders etc… Don’t worry! DVD Ripper Pro is designed on purpose for everybody to use. – If you are more advanced then you also have complete control for custom video settings.
Some of the Video Formats Include:
DVD to AVI, DVD to MP4, DVD to MKV, DVD to MPG, WMV, MOV, MTS, M4V, ASF, DVC, MTS, M2TS, WEBM, FLV, SWF, VOB, F4V, 3GP and 3GP2
When I used WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro for the first time I was really surprised at the speed. I was expecting each DVD to take at least 15-20 minutes per rip. But I was able to create 1:1 duplicates in a matter of a few minutes. Each DVD averaged at around 4-5 minutes, which is an amazing speed. Back in the day of DViX, I’d wait half the day for a movie to slowly rip.
Before I finish up on here, I want to talk about one last feature which I thought was a nice addition. If you’re not familiar with a DVDs standard resolution, its 720×576. Some people would consider this resolution “redundant” as HD is taking over the world. WonderFox DVD Ripper Pro has a nice up-scaling feature build into their presets. It can take DVDs, output them to 1920×1080 and still maintain perfect picture quality.
