How To Install Mobdro on Kodi (Simple Add-on, No Android)

Mobdro is a very popular app used to stream various different IPTV channels on your Android smart phone. Its been around forever and one of its biggest features is how well the app is maintained. The author and creators are constantly updating the app on a daily basis to ensure the channels are always working (except for maybe a few hours in a day); there is nothing worse than an IPTV app that constantly has dead channels, am I right?

The only problem with Mobdro was the fact that it was limited to Android devices, with no support for iOS, Windows or Mac OSX; the only way to watch was huddled around your Android smart phone (if you’re lucky enough to have one). A few different users found methods of Installing Mobdro on their Windows machines by installing Bluestacks (an Android emulator) and running the Mobdro APK file, however this wasn’t ideal because Bluestacks used up a heap of CPU and RAM on peoples systems; unless you had a top of the range machine, you’d struggle!

Today a new add-on popped up in the Kodi scene called MOBDRO4KODI, someone finally found a way of scraping all the channels directly from the Android app. In the tutorial below I’m going to show you how to install Mobdro on Kodi without using Android, any APK or emulator. Please keep in mind that these channels were best intended for smart phone resolution so they aren’t always going to be in HD (although some are); but hey what can you expect for no buffering, decent servers and free of charge?
