HD Box is a neat little Kodi add-on developed by the Mucky Duck team which I found on their repository the other day while browsing around. If you’ve heard of the android/iOS app called “Movie Box” which is designed for jailbroken devices then you’re already half way to knowing HD Box. Targeted at the more recent movies, HD Box separates itself from other movie add-on’s for two different reasons. The first reason being that all movies are in full HD 1080p (which is always a good start), not only this but they’re also coming from decent servers which makes buffering less of an issue. The second reason is that all the movies are single click, meaning you don’t have to filter through different sources. You simply click the film you want to watch and it plays; taking a similar route to Netflix.
As mentioned above HD Box relies more on the recent movies and excludes TV shows. If you want an add-on with more variety in older film then I suggest taking a look at the Exodus add-on that I made a post for a few weeks back. However don’t be discouraged to also give HD Box a chance; as mentioned above it has great speed servers, single click movie playing and less buffering which is hard to come by with sourced add-ons.
This add-on is brand new so I have no idea how long it will last, or what its future holds as its obviously a work in progress. Please don’t post negative feedback if the add-on suddenly stops working as its out of my control.
Latest version is 1.0.2
