CKayTV – Another FREE IPTV App for Android

CKayTV Thumbnail

CKayTV is one of the nicest free IPTV apps that I’ve seen in awhile. Not only does it run smoothly but it also looks great on all the Android devices I tested it on.

One of my new year resolutions for my blog and YouTube channel was to make more videos based on Android APK’s. Up until now I never really touched on them much because I didn’t think they were as popular as Kodi add-ons. I also never had an Android device myself to test them on (Apple iOS user). But many people have proven me wrong as APK’s for IPTV (and movies/TV shows) are very much a big deal.

Today we’re looking at an APK called CKayTV which delivers a nice range of IPTV channels for free. But before we get started, remember that this is a free IPTV app, so we shouldn’t have high expectations. Like most free IPTV related apps/add-ons they’re never reliable and can “die” at any time.

CKayTV is very straight forward. You head over to their websites on your Android browser and download the APK. After you’ve installed it (only takes about 10 seconds), open it and you’re all set. The channels are presented in category like fashion along the top of the interface. They also have their respective logos which is a nice touch. After selecting the channel you want to watch, it’ll start to load in either the app player or an external player.

There isn’t much to say about this app. other than it “works well”. After using it for a few hours I did come across some channels which didn’t load. But this is expected when you’re paying nothing. The channels were all pretty good quality; most were in HD and others were in a high quality SD. I did experience the odd buffing here and there, but remember its free.

Before you install the APK. Go into your Android settings and enable the installation of apps from unknown sources.

If channels are not playing:

If channels are not playing then its possible they are being blocked by your ISP. Geo-restrictions apply in different countries depending on your ISP. To fix this you can use Ivacy VPN.
